Ingredients

  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or 1 Madagascar vanilla bean (seeds scraped)

Instructions

  1. Heat the base: Add 2 cups of half and half and 1/4 cup of maple syrup to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until small bubbles begin to form, careful not to boil.
  2. Add vanilla: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract or scrape the seeds from one Madagascar vanilla bean into the mixture. Whisk well to combine thoroughly.

  • Store the vanilla creamer in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • You can substitute half and half with a mixture of milk and cream if preferred.
