Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the quiche.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion, sliced mushrooms, and diced butternut squash until they become tender, about 5-7 minutes. Then add the chopped kale and cook until wilted, about 2 more minutes.
  3. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the 4 large eggs, 1 cup of milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined and slightly frothy.
  4. Assemble Quiche: Spread the sautéed vegetables evenly over the pre-made pie crust placed in a pie dish. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the vegetables. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top to cover the surface.
